Our Mission

Building Relationships ... to model Christ’s love

Making Connections ... to reach and serve our community to glorify God

Growing Together ... to become all that God calls us to be

Our Core Values

God: Everything we do is intended to bring people closer to God.

Prayer: We believe in the power of prayer.

Grace: We believe that God’s abundant grace is at work among us and we are the instruments that God uses to put that grace into action.

Family: We recognize we are all part of God’s family. We see the influence family has on our lives and community.  We strive to provide opportunities for all God’s family to grow into all that God wants them to be. We have a place for every one of God’s children.

Outreach: We seek to engage and develop all people into devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.

Mission: We seek to serve people in the name of Jesus Christ, showing that they are precious children of God. They are valued and loved.

Teams: We were not created to stand alone. Our gifts and talents are designed to work best in groups. We believe that teams use all the diverse gifts and talents God has given us to accomplish our goals. The strength of a team is the result of the collective talents of its members.

Generosity: We teach, model, and encourage people to be generous with their time, talents, and gifts so that this ministry makes a difference.

The stated mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to "prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law." Youth are trained in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations.
