The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) aims to improve the health and nutritional well-being of elderly individuals, 60 years and older, who are vulnerable to malnutrition and are income eligible.

4th Tue, of each month, 8:30am-9:30am
West End Park Senior Center Food Bank provides approximately 50-60 pounds of food to seniors each month. Food is chosen to accommodate the special dietary needs of the senior population and includes produce, protein, whole grains and staples that will help the seniors live healthy and independent lives.
Senior citizens 60+
2nd Tue of each month, 9:00am-10:30am
Zumba Gold is a lower-intensity version of the typical Zumba class and was designed to meet the anatomical, physiological and psychological needs of seniors. Perhaps Zumba Gold will provide a suitable option for older adults seeking alternative means of reaching their exercise goals.

Mon & Fri, 10:30-11:30am
Provides senior adults, 60 years and older, and spouses, in Bexar County, with a nutritionally balanced lunchtime meal in a congregate setting with supportive services consisting of: • Companionship • Nutrition Education • Basic Health Screenings • Social Services • Outreach activities • Recreation and Dance • Computer Classes* • Arts and Crafts • Exercise Classes* • Transportation* Seniors enrolled at any of the city operated Senior Centers and live within a five-mile radius of the center may qualify for morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off to and from the senior center.
60 years + & spouses
Screenings are tests that look for diseases before you have symptoms. Screening can detect diseases early when they're easier to treat.
