San Pedro Presbyterian Church (Faith / Christian )

We uphold Christ as the head of the church and have a representative form of church government which means the power for setting church direction and policy belongs to the the people in the pews. Pastors and elected elders from our congregation oversee our local body (Session). We’re part of the Presbyterian Church (USA.)

Coming to church is bold step for anyone to make. No matter who you are–a committed follower of Jesus or a person curious about Jesus, visiting a church for the first time isn’t easy. Perhaps you never have been to church (or not in a long time) and fear you will not know what to do, how to act, or what to say. We want you to feel welcome at San Pedro, but never uncomfortable.Join us for Sunday worship and see what we’re all about.

Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in participating congregations. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers-called Stephen Ministers-to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Male and female Stephen Ministers are paired with male and female Care Receivers respectively. Confidentiality is key to the ministry. Stephen Ministers receive support through supervision, continuing education, and coaching on a monthly basis.

Stephen Ministry is open to the public; church membership is not required.
