San Antonio Behavioral Healthcare Hospital offers inpatient and partial hospitalization pre-teen and teen mental health programs designed to support young people, ages 9 to 17, who require structured care and monitoring for behavioral conditions or substance abuse.

Our facility provides a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for the treatment of teen mental illness. This includes recommendations for further treatment, as well as educating family members and loved ones on how to support the patient in normal life. To ensure continued support and care, follow-up appointments are also scheduled as needed.

IOP is ideal for the patient who has achieved some stability, but continues to need more intensive treatment. While in IOP, patients will continue to work with their medication management professional.

Our ultimate goal, is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where our patients can continue their road to healing.

Weekly visits with a psychiatrist and therapist are NOT included at this level of care. Patients will receive community referrals for these services.
