Our vision is to create an empowered community. HCFS is committed to providing case management services, innovative support including supplemental self–selection groceries, emergency financial assistance for individuals and families in the community who are experiencing a crisis.

We work closely with more than 30 local nonprofits to help with services available in the community including:
- Healthcare and Prescription Assistance.
- Legal Services
- Affordable Housing
- Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Treatments and Assistance.
- Dental and Vision Evaluations.
- Education and Workforce Development.

Shoppe for a Cause!
It’s upscale resale shop is tucked in an unexpected location in Boerne, TX.
Jill Ramsey, manager, and her team carefully select items for the stores to ensure that excellent quality merchandise and modern styles are available at all times.
New merchandise is available daily so no two days are the same at Random Hangers.
You can find seasonally appropriate designer clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories at Random Hangers and art, household goods and gifts items at The Warehouse.
Random Hangers and Warehouse accepts donations of new and gently used clothing, household goods, kitchen items and furniture. All donations are sold to aide HCFS clients in their journey to self-sufficiency.
We accept donations for Random Hangers and the Warehouse, Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Volunteer at Corner Cupboard:
Whether for an hour, a day or a regular, recurring slot, HCFS needs volunteers at the Corner Cupboard. Volunteers are trained in order to best interact with our clients.
HCFS creatively works with youth and church groups for larger-scale projects including Eagle Scouts.
Volunteer at Random Hangers:
Volunteers who enjoy fashion will appreciate volunteering in our retail and resale store, Random Hangers. Random Hangers provides for families in need and generates retail sales for local and out-of-town shoppers where 100% of the proceeds support HCFS programs.
