If you’ve taken alternative transportation to work and have an emergency, Alamo Commutes will cover the cost of your ride home.

Alamo Commutes provides up to $50 four times a year for an emergency ride home via a taxi or other ride-hail services such as Uber or Lyft.

Qualifying emergencies include personal or family illness/injury, your carpool partner's illness/injury, unexpected overtime, a bicycle breakdown, or a weather-related event.

Non-reimbursable events include personal events, scheduled overtime, transportation system delays, or overtime.
