The Pediatric-Adolescent Acquisition of Life Skills (PAALS) Program is a community resource for adolescents (ages 13-21) with long-term disabilities and their families to build or enhance the life skills necessary to transition into adulthood and reach maximal functional independence.

Skill-based training activities include:
- laundry
- bed making

- Full-size washer and dryer and laundry supplies
- Twin bed with linen
- A kitchen with real cooking equipment, utensils, and ingredients
