We begin with a special prayer to bless our efforts. Members turn in projects, share needs, a reading of thank you notes and review of the following month distribution of shawls is given. All ladies are invited to have input, and we are thinking of adding an invitation to people who sew who would like to create prayer blankets as well. A small group sent to visit the facility for Threads of Love, and many of the members are creating blankets and garments for the premature babies needs that are addressed through this program. We address the needs of Homebound, Stephen Ministry, Cancer Support, Bereavement, Divorced and Separated.
First Tues 2:00 pm in the Family Room of Banquet Hall

Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in participating congregations. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. Male and female Stephen Ministers are paired with male and female Care Receivers respectively. Confidentiality is key to the ministry. Stephen Ministers receive support through supervision, continuing education, and coaching on a monthly basis.
Stephen Ministry is open to the public; church membership is not required.
