Holy Trinity serves a thriving and active community in San Antonio, Texas. If you are new to San Antonio or just visiting, we would love for you to celebrate Mass with our parish family. We strive to live out the message and mission of Jesus Christ as a community of worship, shared faith and service, where we believe and belong and share the gifts and talents we have received from God through the Holy Spirit.
Holy Trinity offers over 70 ministries which serve our local community in parish and family life, evangelization, worship, service and outreach, adult and elementary faith formation, youth ministry and social events.
"Bridges Beyond Grief" is a grief support group sponsored by North Central Baptist Hospital.
All are welcome.
Please call Chaplain Emily Baril at 210-497-8166 for information on how to join this support group.
Divorced and Separated Ministry initiated the presentation of a Catholic Based Divorced / Separated Support Program entitled The Catholics Divorce Survival Guide.
Anyone who is a Catholic divorced or separated.
We begin with a special prayer to bless our efforts. Members turn in projects, share needs, a reading of thank you notes and review of the following month distribution of shawls is given. All ladies are invited to have input, and we are thinking of adding an invitation to people who sew who would like to create prayer blankets as well.
A small group sent to visit the facility for Threads of Love, and many of the members are creating blankets and garments for the premature babies needs that are addressed through this program.
We address the needs of Homebound, Stephen Ministry, Cancer Support, Bereavement, Divorced and Separated.
Our Mission, The Holy Trinity Respect Life Ministry fosters respect and protection for the sanctity and dignity of all human life from the moment of conception to a natural death by lovingly promoting the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church regarding practices such as abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, and capital punishment.
Holy Trinity has a Rosary Ministry devoted to Our Lady, and the entire parish community is invited to participate.
This ministry makes and supplies beaded rosaries for our Parish Care (hospitals, nursing homes, home bound etc.), hand-knotted rosaries for the military, retreats and special occasions.
Training and supplies are provided, once you learn how to make rosaries, they can be made at your home at your own pace.
All ages, men and women.
Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in participating congregations. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers-called Stephen Ministers-to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
Male and female Stephen Ministers are paired with male and female Care Receivers respectively. Confidentiality is key to the ministry. Stephen Ministers receive support through supervision, continuing education, and coaching on a monthly basis.
Stephen Ministry is open to the public; church membership is not required.
