Rise Recovery offers an array of recovery-oriented classes which are open to health care providers, mental health professionals, recovery paraprofessionals, students, and members of the recovery community.

Our learning environment supports the development of compassion and empathy. Classes typically run on a 4-week schedule.

We work with graduate and undergraduate students offering internships and practicums placements. We also offer internships for students interested in organizational leadership, nonprofit management and administration.

For health care and mental health professionals, we offer Continuing Education Units. Rise Recovery is a Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals provider.

We also offer a Recovery Peer Support Specialist Training Program.

While peer support has been around for years, it has recently become recognized as a vital piece to recovery. If you are looking to provide hope to those who struggle with substance use and provide support in their recovery process, Rise Recovery can help make that happen. The Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) training will provide the necessary skills and knowledge needed to work as a peer support specialist in settings such as peer-run organizations, public or private substance use treatment, veteran services and corrections departments.
