San Antonio Community Resource Directory

SAAF strives to make the volunteer experience a positive one for all who generously donate their time to our agency’s mission. In our efforts to maintain this level of care it is important to have general safety guidelines. We have minimum requirements that must be maintained for the safety and well-being of all who volunteer, as well as the confidentiality of the people we serve.

Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:

  • Mobile food pantry
  • Arts and crafts for clients
  • Birthday parties for clients
  • Reception/light office work
  • Group yard beautification
  • Kitchen/hot meal assistance, kitchen prep and clean-up
  • Housekeeping and maintenance
  • Event support: Webb Party, Run and Walk for AIDS, World AIDS Day and others
