Additional services are provided through our partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank and seniors are encouraged to apply with the Project Hope Supplement Program and Commodities Supplement Food Program to assist all registered seniors at our program. These two programs are ongoing every month with application and recertification.

If not all, many new infections could be prevented with proper preventative care and education. Our goal is to decrease the rate of new HIV infection diagnoses and sexually transmitted diseases within the communities we serve. CommuniCare offers anonymous and confidential testing to all persons requesting a test for HIV or STDs. We provide this care to anyone within a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Some of the services we offer are:

  • PrEP (PrEP is a powerful HIV prevention medication and can be combined with other prevention methods to provide even greater protection).

Telemedicine refers to the practice of caring for patients remotely when our doctors and patients are not physically present with each other inside an exam room.
