Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is the leading scientifically supported approach to assessing and treating feeding problems in children with autism and other developmental disorders.
Feeding therapy works by learning what motivates your child and using positive reinforcement to help your child manage sensory sensitivities, learn to enjoy eating new foods, and strengthen skills they may be struggling with such as chewing or using utensils.
ABA therapy is highly collaborative and compassionate, embraces neurodiversity, and promotes self-determination and independence.
