Kindle is a response to the longing of Jesus. A compassionate reply to the issues of our day. With confident hope, we pray, “Lord send us,” trusting that the remedy for distress in our world is a community living on God-given assignment, filled with the power of Holy Spirit, and the tender heart of Jesus.

We’ve managed to keep our church property fairly rustic. We like it that way — the land is yours to enjoy and explore; we hope you’ll find time to visit our Prayer Path and Labyrinth. Its entrance is at the edge of the parking lot.
The meandering Prayer Path was built largely by the children in our elementary Sunday School class. Pray or meditate as you walk, or just use it as a nature trail. If you’re new to prayer, or want some suggestions of ways to pray, pick up our Labyrinth Guide at the trail-head or ask one of us: we’ll be happy to offer direction.
The path and labyrinth are available 24 hours a day; wear comfortable walking shoes. During the day, please pre-apply sunscreen, bring a hat and water bottle. If you get tired, note your location, break out of the path and sit for a bit on the bench, and resume later. Note: there are no rest room facilities out by the labyrinth; plan ahead.
If you walk the path after sunset or before sunrise, we’d ask that you please take a flashlight with you and keep an eye out for cactus and for our animal friends (armadillos, raccoons, deer, etc.) — please be careful not to disturb them. Always feel free to replace stray rocks or tend to weeds as you move along the path.
Allow at least 30-40 minutes to complete the labyrinth (entrance-to-center and then back out again at a medium-slow pace). This allows for four or five minutes in the center for prayer, but please take as much time as you’d like at the center: it can be a very meaningful experience, and not one to be rushed.

The study of Vedanta is a sacred and ancient tradition imparted in a gurukula setting. In Sanskrit, “kula” means family, and “guru” means teacher. A gurukul is where the students and the guru reside together and form a family. This system of constant interaction between them enables the students to learn not only from the words of their teacher but also from the teacher’s daily living.
We offer:
- Residential Vedanta Courses
- Dharma Sevak Course
- Purohita Course
- Postal & E-Vedanta Course

We live through crises of immense magnitude and sometimes feel so insignificant in comparison. We differ from the world in that the Church has true significance and carries answers to so many of the problems around us. We believe, maybe more than ever, that the church must be ready to respond to humanitarian crises, pandemics, and disasters of all kinds.
Jesus is the only hope for all that is going on and the church is called to display His love and hope in the toughest times! Matthew 24:6-8, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."
Acts of Mercy is the international disaster relief arm of the Antioch Movement and we have an affiliate chapter here at CrossBridge to respond to both local and international disasters. We mobilize believers who are medical professionals and trained first responders to bring prompt, physical, and spiritual care in times of crisis.
With long-term recovery in mind, we partner with the Acts of Mercy Development team in Waco and other chapters across the nation to respond to crises. If you are a medical professional, a first responder, trained in security and logistics, or someone who can be an “all hands on deck” kind of person, we encourage you to prayerfully consider joining our Acts of Mercy chapter at CrossBridge. In-person or online training is provided to get you practically and spiritually prepared to respond to disasters all around the world.
The CrossBridge adoption and foster care ministry exists to be a connecting point for families and individuals who have been touched by God's call to care for orphans in their distress (James 1:27) and to promote a "wrap around" approach where the entire body of Christ is encouraged, empowered and equipped to be involved with supporting families that have adopted.
We meet on the second Sunday of every month during our second service and welcome any interested families to join us. We would love the opportunity to pray with you, answer questions, and share our experiences.
We desire that people move toward foster care and adoption with “eyes wide open.” We want people to know the good, the bad, the difficult, and the all-surpassing hope of Christ to bring healing and wholeness to our children. We desire to provide a safe place to share the joys and the struggles of adoption as we support each other through prayer.
If you are considering adoption or foster care, please contact us. We have families that have experience with international, domestic, and foster adoptions that would love to support you on your journey.
As you continue your journey we encourage you to check out the books:
- Adopted For Life – The Priority of Adoption for Christian Families and Churches
- Fields of the Fatherless – Discover the Joy of Compassionate Living
In addition, check out our parenting page for more resources to help you along this journey.
Our mission is to reflect Christ’s love by serving cancer patients and others with life-threatening medical conditions, through tangible assistance and spiritual support. These individuals have family members and caregivers who are also affected, and they need to know they are not alone.
Please join us as we follow the Lord’s leading in the formation and growth of this new ministry at CrossBridge. Our focus is sharing the LOVE of Christ and the HOPE of the gospel!
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty on over 550 college campuses nation-wide. We minister to students and faculty through small group Bible studies, large gatherings on campus, leadership training, thoughtful discipleship and life-changing conferences and events.
Why the Campus?
Today’s university shapes tomorrow’s leaders. In the university, women and men are encouraged to pursue truth, often without regard for God, and to pursue personal goals, often without concern for a higher purpose.
InterVarsity longs to see education lead to a lifetime of Christian worship and service. We believe that when students and faculty are transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, their campus is transformed, and ultimately society as a whole comes to more closely reflect the priorities of the kingdom of God. That is why we invest ourselves in the lives of students and faculty, wherever they are on their spiritual journey.

KPMI is a ministry of the church, a ministry of the apostles whom Jesus, the Christ, has called into the community and sent forth into the environment of the correctional institution. KPMI has been called the best example of the early church in existence today.

CrossBridge partners with Northside Church of Christ's Loaves and Fishes and provides food, socks, and hygiene items while also spreading the love of Christ.
We interact with the people we are serving to help them know that they are loved and that someone cares about them.
Loaves and Fishes serves the homeless near downtown San Antonio three days a week.
Volunteers are welcome to help prepare food and/or distribute the food. Families with children are welcome to participate in truck loading and preparation.
Sandwiches are prepared and the truck is loaded at Northside Church of Christ, 19818 Hwy 281 North.
If you would like to participate as an individual, just arrive at the church at the start time and day mentioned below. When you drive into the main drive, keep right toward "Deliveries," and you will see the Loaves and Fishes truck parked on the drive. If you would like to participate as a large group, please contact Dana Grubb at the email below.
Jesus instructed his followers to care for the poor, the hungry, the sick, and those in prison saying, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40). This ministry seeks to serve Christ by serving others.
PAL offers HOPE for families dealing with addiction.
You are not alone. PAL support groups are for parents and other family members (not the addicted) seeking to support a loved one in their recovery.
PAL’s evidence-based curriculum has been proven in studies to help parents’ wellbeing to improve and decrease enabling behavior. Studies also indicate that a loved one with substance use disorder is less likely to be using drugs/drinking alcohol once a family member attends PAL meetings.
The curriculum includes topics such as delayed emotional growth, the role of the family in addition, setting realistic boundaries, and healthy helping vs. enabling. Since these are not common life skills, families often find PAL only after they’ve become overwhelmed and found themselves in need.
Regular meetings offer addiction education and support at no charge for parents and other family members who are trying to support a loved one through an addiction.

We believe that the Bible is the God - breathed, written expression of God's own heart and hands continally at work all throughout the course of history. It does not just " contain " God's Word. Although the Scriptures were written by men, they are neither of men nor from men, but from God.
