Mission Church (Faith / Christian )

We are a non-denominational, theologically reformed, and culturally relevant church. Everything we do as a church ultimately has the goal in mind of inviting people into a Life with Jesus.

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
At Mission, we try to keep things simple. We are for two things Jesus & People ...it's our joy to connect the two for His Glory.

  • GOD THE FATHER - There is one and only one living and true God.
  • GOD THE SON - Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God
  • GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT - The Spirit of God, fully Divine
  • MANKIND - Man is the special creation of God, made in His image
  • SALVATION - offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • SCRIPTURE - a perfect treasure of Divine instruction
  • EVANGELISM & MISSIONS - privilege of every follower to endeavor to make disciples of all nations

These are some core beliefs that we hold at Mission. For a more detailed explanation, you are invited to read our full Statement of Faith

  • SHARE JESUS - We go all out to share the love of Jesus. We use our time, treasure, and talents to share the gospel through our words and actions. (Romans 12:24, Luke 10:27-37
  • GROW IN JESUS - We strive every day to grow as disciples of Jesus. We make disciples in the way of Jesus while growing as disciples ourselves (Matt. 28:18-20, John 13: 34-35
  • TRUE COMMUNITY - We live an open, honest, and genuine community. We are our strongest when we are together (transparency and weakness) and we don't try to pretend to be something we're not. (1 John 1:7)
  • LOVE OTHERS - We consider others as more important than ourselves. We lift up and care for others through encouragement, provisions, and service. (Philippians 2:1-4)
  • SERIOUS GOSPEL - We take the gospel seriously but not ourselves. Having a foundation in scripture allows us to be free to have deep joy. We laugh hard and often. (John 15:11)

Alamo Hospice (Nonprofit )

Hospice Partners of America was founded by a team of experienced hospice professionals with a goal of providing exceptional hospice care across the country. Our compassionate hospice team was born out of the realization that while many hospice agencies are started on the principles of providing compassionate end-of-life care, most get bogged down in the complex business aspects of the healthcare environment. The increasing complexity of insurance, Medicare and hospice regulations causes many hospice providers to spend a majority of their time dealing with paper rather than people. But that is not the case with Hospice Partners of America.

St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Church (Faith / Christian )

Welcome to feel the love and Grace of our God Almighty at St. Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church.

The Indian Orthodox Church is of the families of and in full communion with Oriental Orthodox Churches. The Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Church traces its Christian heritage as far back as A.D.52 when St. Thomas, the Apostles of Lord Jesus Christ came to India and established Christianity. People of the Indian province were known as the St.Thomas Syrian Christians because of our liturgy (Holy Eucharist) and sacraments were in Syriac (Aramaic) language, from the early times.  The same language is believed to be spoken by Jesus Christ himself. We use the same (western) Syriac language in our holy sacraments and prayers even today.

Our parish belongs to DSWA/Diocese of South-West America of the Indian Orthodox Syrian Church. This Parish was established in 2010 as a small chapel - with a humble beginning. Ever since its inception, we’ve been truly blessed and showered with the abundant Grace of the Lord Almighty and the protection of His invisible "hands" throughout our journey thus far.

Town East Baptist Church (Faith / Christian )

Town East Baptist Church is a 61 year old church located in San Antonio, Texas. It was founded in 1958 by Dr. Joe & Doris West, and he pastored it until 1991 at which time he retired to travel and promote missions. The church then called his son Larry West, who had been serving as the church's youth director to become the pastor of the church. Pastor Larry & his wife, Donna, served as our lead pastor until 2017 when Pastor Larry went home to be with the Lord. Our third pastor came on in February of 2019 after nearly a two year search. Dr. Russell & Christy Riggs came from the Orlando Baptist Temple in Orlando, Florida to take on the call to be our Senior Pastor making him only the 3rd man to hold this office in our church's 61 year history!

We are a non-conventional, independent Baptist church with a heart for evangelism to the San Antonio area and a heart for world wide missions. Our preaching is dynamic, and we sing a blend of classic hymns and soul-stirring praise songs from the modern era. We are a multi-cultural church family and you will find just about every culture represented in our church body. We are a church that stands on the doctrines of our faith and yet we have stayed current and balanced in our stances and spirit. You will find a blend of traditionalism and modern methodology at Town East. We have an age demographic that is very balanced with young all the way to the senior saint and everything in between. We work a lot with young people with an active children's program, teen program, singles department, adult activities, and our Young at Heart Senior Saint program. We also are the home to Town East Christian School... a K4-12th grade Christian School. There is something for everyone!

TLC Kids Therapy (Business )

“TLC Kids Therapy began as a labor of love to help children with special needs. I believe every child has a voice, if only we listen, and that behavior is a type of communication, if only we can figure out what they are trying to tell us. Every child can move, so we must figure out how to help them.

Every child deserves to be loved and cherished, and deserves the chance to live their best life. I believe families of children with special needs are also special: they face extra challenges and need extra support. Our mission at TLC is to be a blessing to these children and their families. I believe that miracles can happen!

McArthur Park Church of Christ (Faith / Christian )

We are a community of believers who believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We seek to follow the scripture in all we do. As a body of believers, we believe that just as scripture teaches, Jesus Christ himself is the head of the church.

Our church family currently has nine spiritual leaders (referred to as Shepherds, Pastors, or Elders). These men are responsible for the spiritual well-being of this church family.

We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others and find places for your whole family to connect. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love, and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
