The Alcohol Awareness Course is open to all individuals who have been cited with a Minor in Possession (MIP) of alcohol citation and mandated by a court to attend. SACADA is a certified provider of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and valid for anyone receiving an MIP or other related alcohol citation in the state of Texas.

This course is the first weekend of the month unless it conflicts with a holiday, to which is moved to the following weekend.

• This is a 6-hour course that is taught in 3-hour increments over a 2-day span.
• The course is from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM both days.
• Participants must attend both classes in order to receive a Certificate of Completion.

The Alcohol and Drug Awareness Education Program (ADAEP) is an in-house program SACADA created that focused on adults 18 years and older. The program consist of 10 weekly sessions education participants about substance use, the negative health consequences that may occur with use of substances, signs and symptom of use and possible sign of addiction and subject matters that may occur due to substance use such as domestic violence, mental health issues.

Our session also educate on the importance of living a healthy, balanced life educating on goals, wellness and healthy relationships.

All 10 weekly sessions take place Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM vritually via Zoom. There is an orientation process that must be completed before the start of the program.

Alumni Support Group

Innova Recovery understands and respects the continuity of care, so even after you graduate from IOP we continue to provide support to you. We offer a support group once a week to those who have worked through IOP and are needing extra support.

The DWI Education Course open to individuals 18 years and older and may be mandated education for those who have received a 1st time Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) citation or other intoxication citation.

SACADA is a certified provider of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to DWI Education Course. This course is valid for anyone who received a DWI Citation or other intoxication citation in the state of Texas.

SACADA holds the DWI Education Course the first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the month unless there is a holiday, which is then moved to the second weekend.

• This course is 12 hours and is taught in 4 hr. increments over a 3-day span.

What is FA?™
FA™ is a program based on the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We offer help and spiritually based recovery to those whose connection with food can be understood as a form of addiction. We are not a medical group, nor are we connected with any particular form of religion. We charge no dues or fees and our meetings include no weigh-ins. Our membership is international and includes men and women, adolescents, and the elderly. All are welcome.

Who might benefit from FA™?
People who find help in FA™ vary greatly. Some of us have been diagnosed as morbidly obese, while others are undereaters. Among us are those who were severely bulimic, who have harmed themselves with compulsive exercise, or whose quality of life was impaired by constant obsession with food or weight. We tend to be people who, in the long-term, have failed at every solution we tried, including therapy, support groups, diets, fasting, exercise, and in-patient treatment programs.

Does FA™ work?
Like Alcoholics Anonymous, FA treats food addiction as a threefold illness: physical, mental, and spiritual.  Members have maintained continuous recovery (including stable weight and freedom from obsession with food and body size) for years and even decades. Along with improvements in physical health, FA recovery has brought us better relationships, increased self-esteem, more tools for handling stress, and an ever-deepening spirituality.

Individuals who have never been in a group are often surprised to discover that they truly enjoy the experience and make significant strides they would not have otherwise made in individual therapy. Groups also allow for exponential multiplication of time and energy. Just one week of Innova's group therapy program is equivalent to over 3 months of individual therapy.

Intensive Outpatient Programs

Our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment offers the option of joining from the comfort and privacy of your own home on your smartphone or laptop. You will attend group meetings, with no more than 8-12 in a group , for three days a week.

Typically, the program lasts 12 weeks, depending on individual progression. Our team will walk you from your initial phone call to having you join your first meeting, to ensure you always have support.

• For Women-For women, led by women, our goal is to provide support on your journey to recovery using several techniques and methods.
• For Men-Men leave our program with less irritability, a greater understanding of how to deal with life?s stress and a more confident sense of self.

Group therapy is a form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another. Group therapy involves one or more therapists who lead a group of roughly 5 to 15 patients. Some patients attend individual therapy in addition to groups, while others participate in groups only.

This is an opportunity to target a specific problem in a group setting, such as depression, eating disorders, panic disorders, social anxiety, chronic pain or substance abuse and more. Group Therapy is a great way to get professional help while gaining support from others in similar situations.

In group therapy our counselors will first evaluate each person ensuring they are a good fit. Then work together to create a safe, supportive, and cohesive space for the group to address personal, relationship and societal issues.
