The intervention process offers an opportunity to challenge popular beliefs and myths surrounding addictive behavior. The biggest myth is that a dependent person must hit rock bottom and lose it all before he/she will accept help. Unfortunately, all too often this is the point where addiction leads to serious consequences such as legal problems, relationship issues, job issues, health issues, and high-risk behaviors. Intervention is a method of rising above that and setting positive goals to avoid these life-altering consequences.

An intervention is emotionally complex and impacts families and friends which can place strains on the dynamics of both relationships. A professional Interventionist offers insight and knowledge to help achieve a positive outcome.

Our trained professionals here at Spirit Wolf are in recovery from all forms of addictions and addictive behavior. This allows them to interact with the addictive person from mutual understanding, furthering chances for success.

Spirit Wolf does not believe in ultimatums, threats, or an all-or-nothing approach process. We instead approach each situation from the standpoint of honesty, love, and family; encouraging the client to seek treatment. This alleviates BLAME, SHAME, AND GUILT and begins the healing process with everyone.

We offer a sliding scale and scholarships for individuals that qualify.

Our foundational program is a client-centered, strengths-based treatment approach for addiction recovery and other mental health challenges.

Active in Recovery (AIR) utilizes the neuroscience of physical movement with intense physical exercise to induce neuroregeneration and neuroplasticity within the brains of the participants.

This is all done in a team based community setting. The effect of this process in the brain will support an improved capacity to handle stress, a reduction in symptoms of anxiety and depression, improved cognition, social engagement, self-image, and self-esteem.

A Christ-Centered Healing Program for Mothers and Children.

Women with Children is a unique program offered by the Adult and Teen Challenge of Texas, located in San Antonio, Texas specifically designed to provide support and healing for women with children.

We understand the challenges faced by mothers who are seeking to overcome life-controlling issues, and we are here to offer hope and restoration.

Healing Together

In our program, women with children aged 3 months to 5 years old embark on a transformative journey of recovery. Our Christ-centered program spans an entire year, allowing both mothers and children to heal together.

As mothers participate in the San Antonio Women’s program during the day, they have the privilege of spending their afternoons and evenings at home with their children in a loving and supportive family-style environment.

Childcare on Campus

We prioritize the well-being and development of your children. While you engage in the program, your little ones will be in the care of our state-licensed day-care facility, First Steps Learning Center. Our dedicated staff ensures that your children receive nurturing care and a safe, stimulating environment for their growth.

Click here to watch a video of the First Steps Learning Center

Empowering Opportunities

Our program extends beyond therapy and counseling. We believe in equipping women with the necessary tools to rebuild their lives. As part of the program, you will have access to educational classes, spiritual edification, chapel services, recreational activities, and vocational skills-building opportunities. Our goal is to empower you with the skills and resources needed to thrive in all areas of life.

Finding Hope

If you know a mother in need of hope and healing, we are here to help. Contact us directly at (210) 319-1325 to learn more about the Women with Children program and how we can support her on the path to recovery.

The funds generated from any work done in Phase 1 and 2 go to ATCOT to help in the operation of the program.

This is one of the many ways we are able to offer the program tuition free during the first two Phases.

Aside from the $1,500 induction fee, tuition is not charged until the third phase of the program, after a student has gained employment.
