Spiritual Care near

Adoption, abandonment, child advocacy and welfare present unique challenges and issues that require a particular understanding, empathy and compassion to address.
The presence and love of God for those who are forgotten and discarded purposefully is in acute and constant demand. Jesus is there for them all, but the guilt, shame and secrets perpetuated by families can be oppressive and cruel. I believe it is all in my calling to reach, teach, love and lead in this topic.
This group meets virtually on Zoom.

Weighed down by Anxiety?
Anxiety is heavy. If you’re struggling, life may feel overwhelming and out of control. Amidst the unknown and chaos of life, it’s easy to feel weighed down by fears and worries.
But there is hope for peace and relief.
You’re not meant to deal with anxiety alone
We connect you to people from local churches who truly care about you and what you’re going through in life. They want to listen, provide help, and encourage you, all with zero expectation or pressure.

The enjoyment of God begins with worship, by joining together with other believers to sing praises to Him, and to the study of the scriptures. At Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church we hope you will:
- Discover the greatness of God in all His power, glory, and majesty. Develop a greater hunger and thirst for God and His Word.
- Cultivate a responsive heart that worships Him in Spirit and in truth, that longs for authentic, edifying fellowship, and that zealously extends this transforming grace to San Antonio and the world.
We would welcome you to ask questions about the life of the church and our mission to see Christ glorified.
We offer a variety of opportunities for worship, fellowship, and growth:

- Sunday School
- Sunday evening service

One of our flagship programs started in 1999, this is a prayer and recovery circle for our clients and volunteers that modifies the 12-step programs and allows clients to share, receive positive feedback, and pray for the community.
Dinner is served after The Circle.
All spiritual views are honored and respected at the Circle.
Each Sunday morning we provide a warm breakfast, showers, clothes, art therapy, and haircuts to our clients in downtown San Antonio.
Clients can also attend the Corazon Medical Clinic at the same location.
All are truly welcome at Travis Park Church!
Unconditional love and justice in action. Travis Park’s commitment to justice means our congregation strives to remove political, cultural, and societal barriers both in the church and community that prevent people from being who God created them to be. This commitment is not based on anybody’s idea of political correctness but on the actions and teachings of Jesus. The closer our lives mirror his life, the more available we are to experience and become God’s new creation.
Travis Park Church is affiliated with the Reconciling Ministries Network, a group of congregations and groups worldwide which have adopted statements welcoming people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
The church provides free emergency food, clothing, counseling and prayer to those in need, including seniors, the disabled, and low income families with children. Supports all of Bexar County.

Heart 2 Heart is a ministry of San Antonio’s First Baptist Church and was founded on two simple principles:
- We all experience brokenness sometime in our life; and
- There is healing in God’s Word.
Divorce Care
Will anyone accept you after divorce? This group will. Take steps toward courage and wholeness with those who know how deeply divorce can cut.
Considering Forgiveness
Does forgiveness mean excusing harmful behavior? Is forgiveness necessary? Explore these difficult questions in a group that won't insult your dignity by minimizing or downplaying the hurt you have known.
Grief Share
Grief is a burden too heavy for anyone’s shoulders to bear alone. In this fellowship, you’ll find a group that stands by one another when the loss you’ve known bends you to the ground.
Men's Freedom Group

We are a Christ-centered, 12 step self-help group providing a safe and confidential setting (apart from other H2H groups) for men recovering from sexual addiction. Our goal is to provide you with the support of fellow recovery travelers with once-weekly meetings year-round.

The Cursillo Movement is designed to help individuals become agents for change in our community by bringing Jesus Christ into every aspect of one’s life. The Cursillo experience begins with a three-day weekend retreat that is offered both in English and Spanish. Inspirational talks are given by the clergy and laypeople. After a Cursillo weekend, one joins a weekly fellowship group of other members of our community who have experienced the weekend and who now want to share their journey and Christian faith.
