Physical distance can make us feel isolated. CBF now offers a bi-weekly opportunity for you to connect with your CBF family through a video program called CBF Gathering. The program will include music, a devotional and prayer led by members of the CBF community and important words and resources from CBF field personnel, chaplains and pastoral counselors and others carrying out essential ministry in new and faithful ways in these days.

Stories of Truth and Transformation, Compassion, Solidarity in Civic Engagement, and Teaching Social Justice.

Join us as we explore and question how we educators recognize our individual stories, engage in educational practices that will help our students realize their own human dignity, their “sacred stories,” help them listen to the stories of others, stories of earth, and compassionately embrace civic engagement for equity and justice. Let’s gather across campuses, across cultures, across the city.

This project seeks to transform us---the educators, the learners, the staff, and the administrators that we may recognize the structures of inequity, segregation and co-create a just “City of Compassion” through sharing stories and listening to stories.

All are truly welcome at Travis Park Church!

Unconditional love and justice in action. Travis Park’s commitment to justice means our congregation strives to remove political, cultural, and societal barriers both in the church and community that prevent people from being who God created them to be. This commitment is not based on anybody’s idea of political correctness but on the actions and teachings of Jesus. The closer our lives mirror his life, the more available we are to experience and become God’s new creation.

Travis Park Church is affiliated with the Reconciling Ministries Network, a group of congregations and groups worldwide which have adopted statements welcoming people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Heart 2 Heart is a ministry of San Antonio’s First Baptist Church and was founded on two simple principles:
We all experience brokenness sometime in our life; and
There is healing in God’s Word.

Divorce Care
Will anyone accept you after divorce? This group will. Take steps toward courage and wholeness with those who know how deeply divorce can cut.

Considering Forgiveness
Does forgiveness mean excusing harmful behavior? Is forgiveness necessary? Explore these difficult questions in a group that won't insult your dignity by minimizing or downplaying the hurt you have known.

Grief Share
Grief is a burden too heavy for anyone’s shoulders to bear alone. In this fellowship, you’ll find a group that stands by one another when the loss you’ve known bends you to the ground.

Men's Freedom Group
(meets year round on Tuesdays)
We are a Christ-centered, 12 step self-help group providing a safe and confidential setting (apart from other H2H groups) for men recovering from sexual addiction. Our goal is to provide you with the support of fellow recovery travelers with once weekly meetings year-round.

Journey to Restoration
This caring ministry creates a safe space for those who during childhood were abused, sexually, physically, emotionally, verbally or by neglect.

All groups are open to the community. You do not need to be a member of the church.

Register and see current schedule online here.

Free.
