The Easter Seals ECI program serves infants and toddlers ages birth to 3 years with developmental delays, medical diagnoses that typically result in developmental delays, and hearing and vision impairments.

Anyone can refer a child for an evaluation. Services are based upon the concerns of the infant or toddler's family as well as the concerns of the interdisciplinary team based upon their professional opinions and observations during the evaluation.

An Individualized Family Service Plan is developed with the family and services are selected based upon the type of discipline, frequency, and intensity that will best meet the child's needs.

Services are provided in the child's natural environment (where the child spends his or her day. All children and families are provided with a service coordinator and case management services. Children must be re-evaluated for continued eligibility annually.

Transition services are also provided to all families to ensure that children need to continue to receive services after his or her 3rd birthday.

Insurance, Medicaid, Tricare, CHIP are accepted and families may be required to pay a monthly fee based on a sliding scale.

Our employment programs provide the necessary tools to achieve and maintain meaningful employment and a steady income. We offer skills training, job search assistance, employment preparation and guidance. For example, we partner with the Direct Employers Association, which has a membership of about 800 employers who want to hire veterans and people with disabilities. Through this partnership, Easterseals is offering a job search portal at easterseals.jobs, which features job postings from these employers.

Across the country, we’re helping people with disabilities, older workers, and veterans find and hold meaningful employment.

We do this by helping all individuals identify job skills necessary for today’s workforce through person-centered employment services, and connecting them to other supports like assistive technology and accessible transportation. We’re also proud to work with local, regional, and national businesses to find employment talent.

This program is for adults with disabilities.
