Rising Star Missionary Baptist church (RSMBC) is a faith based church with Bible teaching and preaching. This little church located two miles from the Fort Sam Houston's Wilson gate.
OUR HISTORY
On June 1, 1965, Rev. Emmitt Smith, being a humble servant of God obeyed His will by calling together a community meeting in his home located at 419 Muegge Street, San Antonio, Texas. RSMBC was later established at it's current location at 330 Muegge St. In 1969, the mantle was transferred to Rev. Clinton James Todd Sr. who pastored RSMBC until March 31, 2011. It was at this time that the mantle was again passed to Rev. Romey Flowers Jr. who continues to lead RSMBC.
