A healing home for girls who have been sexually trafficked or abused.

Retreat4Kids is the light that shines in the darkness of sexual exploitation and abuse. We are a safe place with safe people. We provide a loving environment and healing from trauma and we shine a light that overcomes the darkness for those we serve.

Retreat4Kids offers a therapeutic, comprehensive team approach including programs such as individual therapy and psychological counseling, continued schooling, life skills and voluntary spiritual opportunities to discover true identity and purpose. We are an IRS-approved 501(c)3 and all donations are tax-deductible.

Retreat4Kids provides a Christ-centered, residential center for girls in a time of crisis. We provide hope and healing through support of foster care services, relational advocacy, and trauma-informed care in a home environment while pursuing family restoration. We seek to influence and equip others who share a similar calling to impact children, families and future generations.

Retreat4Kids is always looking to add L.I.F.E. to our efforts to provide light, healing, and treatment for victims of sexual abuse.

LIFE IS AN ACRONYM THAT STANDS FOR…

LABOR. We need volunteers that help build databases, enter meds and special instructions, or can provide help for special events.

‍INFLUENCE. Brittany would love to come to speak to your church and a small bible study group about the work that Retreat 4 Kids are doing. Or maybe you can have a clothing drive for the girls we serve. Perhaps even host a small dinner party in your home and invite 4-5 couples to learn more about all God is doing through the Retreat4Kids.

‍FINANCES. It takes funding to provide a safe place with safe people. Money to pay trained staff and provide the necessary care these girls need to live a life of joy and purpose. Would you please prayerfully consider your most generous gift? Would you become a monthly partner that gives consistently so we can plan and grow?

‍EXPERTISE. You may have a particular skill that can be used to shine a brighter light on the girls we serve. Perhaps you can coordinate or help with a special event. Maybe lead bible studies or act as a liaison between the Retreat4Kids and your church or business.

Through an extensive program of care, counseling, medical treatment, therapy and education, our goal is for children between the ages of 10 and 17 to be restored, function in society, and mature into successful adults by providing a safe space for victims of human trafficking.

We exist to provide long-term care, rehabilitation, and healing for victims of modern-day slavery, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation.

  • Medical Care by Board Certified Pediatrician
  • Assistance for drug and alcohol abuse to set each child up for long-term recovery
  • Psychiatric Evaluation, treatment and continued monitoring
  • Psychological and Trauma Counseling
  • High Staff to Child Ratio
  • Education – A curriculum plan will be developed based on each child’s specific needs. Credit recovery is a main priority.
  • Daily Living Skills – Designed to prepare the girls for independent living, this program will teach personal care, housekeeping, proper nutrition, budgeting, and employment preparation.
  • Mentorship Program
  • Spiritual Needs – What sets Retreat 4 Kids apart from other programs is our belief that God can truly change lives forever. Our team serves all in need, regardless of their faith. We will assess each girl’s spiritual needs and offer opportunities for her to learn, grow and mature in her spiritual walk. And with help from our coalition of churches, we will provide a circle of Christian friends and mentors can help her transition to a new life.
  • Equestrian Therapy
  • Reunification with Family/Relatives – We will exhaust every opportunity to successfully reunite the victim with her immediate family or relatives when appropriate. If the child is unable to reunite with her family, we will seek foster care in a supportive and safe home. Or if the girl is of age, we will prepare her to live independently.
  • Each child’s situation is evaluated and all avenues will be exhausted to best serve the child.

Victims of trafficking, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation ages 10 - 17.
