The detox program at Cross Creek includes a range of treatment interventions designed to ensure that each patient’s withdrawal process is as safe and comfortable as possible within our detox program.

Detox stays typically range in duration from a few days to a week or more, though the process and length of stay are different for each individual. During the detox program at our treatment center, patients live at Cross Creek and are under the care of our treatment team.

During detox, we offer patients in our program the opportunity to participate in numerous therapeutic activities as they are able. Groups, such as our psychotherapy group, process group, nurse education group, and goals group, allow patients to support and be supported by each other and develop skills for long-term sobriety. In addition to these groups, we also offer recreation therapy groups and gym time at our Austin, Texas-based treatment center so that individuals can involve both their bodies and their minds in their recovery efforts.
