Group therapy is a form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another. Group therapy involves one or more therapists who lead a group of roughly 5 to 15 patients. Some patients attend individual therapy in addition to groups, while others participate in groups only.

This is an opportunity to target a specific problem in a group setting, such as depression, eating disorders, panic disorders, social anxiety, chronic pain or substance abuse, and more. Group Therapy is a great way to get professional help while gaining support from others in similar situations.

In group therapy, our counselors will first evaluate each person ensuring they are a good fit. Then work together to create a safe, supportive, and cohesive space for the group to address personal, relationship, and societal issues.
