Magdalena House provides a safe and nurturing home, a community of supportive relationships, education and programming these families need to make lasting positive changes. Women and their children in transitional housing receive wraparound services and 24/7 support in a home-like environment, full of hope and accountability. Families participate in parental coaching, peer Enrichment classes and counseling.

Education is a critical part of the Magdalena House program. All mothers at Magdalena House must participate in full-time accredited education such as ESL, GED, or college. Children have a stable home so they can succeed in school. Families stay with us for multiple years until they have completed their educational goals.

Families at Magdalena House regain hope and prepare for a life of independence and self-sufficiency. Mothers completing our program are able to support their families financially and emotionally. They are confident in themselves and their parenting.

Magdalena House addresses the professional and financial daily needs for each mother and child to flourish. It covers unmet costs related to education, child care, health care, and legal assistance.
