San Antonio Community Resource Directory

As COVID-19’s impact continues, Prospera continues to support our most vulnerable communities.

With your financial help, we continue to provide basic needs assistance (rental, utility, and food assistance) to all our residents during the pandemic. Your action and generosity are needed now.

During 2021, Prospera’s Resident Services Department provided the following resources for residents living across South Texas:

  • Requested/Made Referrals in excess of $471,000 to enable 729 families to maintain safe secure housing through Rental and Utility Assistance.
  • Enabled 6165 people to maintain health and wellness by providing over 48,100 meals, produce boxes and other food resources.
  • Monitored health/safety/welfare and SDOH needs of residents and community members by performing over 29,110 Wellness Checks and Outreach Services.

Prospera Resident Services' provides robust support services that focus on Social Determinant of Health (SDOH) (where we live, grow, play, and work) by providing programs that focus on creating a safe neighborhood, health/healthcare access, educational pursuits opportunities, potential for economic stability and community engagement. We are helping residents and communities become stronger and more resilient. But we need your help!

By providing a one-time gift, your donation will go towards continuation of programs and services to help youth and adult residents living at Prospera and surrounding community members. Prospera is not just for the onsite residents, we believe in helping the community that we live in. We want to be a part of the solution in helping all lower income communities become healthier and productive.
