The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals, including:

  • people who generally make $60,000 or less;
  • persons with disabilities; and
  • limited English-speaking taxpayers

Services at this location are provided in English and Spanish.

VITA helps taxpayers take advantage of all the tax credits they are eligible for.

All VITA tax returns are prepared and submitted to the IRS electronically.

If you qualify for a refund, you can anticipate receiving a check in seven to ten days business days after filing.

Individuals and families earning up to $55,000 annually are eligible for free tax preparation services.

If filing jointly, both spouses must be present.

The following items are needed to prepare your tax return:

  • Driver's License or Photo I.D.
  • Social Security Card or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) for all members of your family
  • All W-2 Forms
  • Copy of last year's tax return (if applicable)
  • 1099 Forms (if applicable)
  • 1099-G Unemployment Benefits (if applicable)
  • 1099-INT Interest from your bank
  • 1099-R Pensions, Annuities, Retirement Plans
  • Account Numbers for electronic deposit of refund
