River City Advocacy's Peer Support groups are for anyone who needs emotional support. Whether you are experiencing a mental health concern, a chronic illness, a personal loss, or even a personal victory you want to share, RCA is a place for you.

Our support groups are facilitated by a Certified Peer Specialist or other staff member but are primarily driven by discussion among peers who share their stories of resilience and offer hope and support for one another.

Each day at Helping Hands is filled with service, fun, and fellowship! Our tasks are geared toward serving others and many of them promote independent living skills. Combining the models of psychosocial therapy and the FDA-approved medication Suboxone, MAT significantly reduces illicit opioid use compared with nondrug approaches and increases access to therapies that can reduce overdose fatalities.

Long-term care is ideal for residents who have

A resident who can no longer remain at home because they require 24-hour nursing care and monitoring is often placed in a long-term care community.
