We provide clothing, shoes, and hygiene items to homeless veterans that are in need. We partner with the shelter for homeless veterans to help those that served our country. No veteran should be homeless after putting their lives on the line for their country.

We offer free financial literacy classes as preventative measures to reduce homelessness in our military population. The classes are designed to teach how money works, how to invest, and how to utilize VA home loans.

The Sunday morning clinic in the basement of Travis Park Church is part of Corazon San Antonio's service to the local homeless community. It includes medical triage and basic care, eye care, medications, and other medical supplies.

For patients with Care Link, Medicare, Medicaid, or other insurance, we provide only medical triage and immediate care.

Families and individuals in need of clothing may "shop" at our clothes closet once every 30 days.

Other things such as diapers, hygiene items, and household linens are also offered when available.

The Harm Reduction Center and Outreach is an effort to aid clients that are suffering from drug addiction and other forms of chemical dependencies. The program has built a team of 8 peer support and recovery specialists. As Certified Peer Recovery Coaches, they take pride in their ability to assist those in need by providing guidance into the many pathways of recovery available today.

A nutritious dinner is served three days a week, followed by a worship service that includes a gospel message and contemporary Christian music.

After a balanced meal, individuals can receive a change of clothes, hygiene products, or special items we may have in stock (like blankets, hats, and gloves in winter months).

Most of our dinner guests and church members are currently unsheltered, but all are welcome.

The primary purpose of the Mission is to acquaint the homeless and the wanderer with the priceless knowledge of the love and forgiveness of God in and through Jesus Christ. Our secondary purpose is to offer a bath, clean clothes, food and a place of shelter for the night.

The Mission provides a complete change of clothing to our guests as needed. We maintain a large clothing storage area (shown in the photograph) which contains shirts, pants, coats, underwear and socks, and shoes. Our clothing articles are donated to us by both individuals and local churches. We also provide to our guests toiletries including soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and paste. In exchange for clothing, we take soiled men’s clothes and after washing, place these clothes in our clothing storage room for reissue to the men.

The San Antonio Rescue Mission dormitory houses up to 40 men in bunk beds.

• All bed linens are washed, dried and replaced on each bed every day
• Showers and personal hygiene items are provided
• Meal served after chapel services

Thrive has two street outreach workers who provide services to homeless young adults who live on the streets. We provide survival backpacks which include hygiene items, first aid items, socks, snacks, water, and resource guides that highlight services throughout Bexar county. Our main objective is to try to get these young adults off the streets and into shelter, whether it be Thrive or another program.

The San Antonio Community and Donation Center serves RAICES clients as an inclusive and welcoming space for all newcomers.

Eligible clients may receive clothing, shoes, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, small housewares, and baby supplies.

Clients are also welcome to attend community events such as medical clinics, toy and school supply drives amongst others.

Must be a RAICES client.

Our goal at Life Restored Church is that everyone who comes through our doors for a meal or a shower, clothes or healing or whatever, will feel loved, respected, and that they matter—because they are.

This is the First Registered Little Free Library and Pantry in San Antonio and close to the oldest public housing complex in town, Alazan Apache Courts. It is located at 816 S Colorado, between El Paso and Guadalupe Streets.

Mobile Relief and Shower Trailer provide immediate family and support services through the San Antonio and surrounding 19 counties of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The Mobile Relief Unit includes a mobile food pantry and USDA-certified kitchen to serve warm, fresh meals. The shower trailer has two bathroom units with sink, toilet, and shower, as well as laundry machines.

Every Saturday from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM we serve a hot meal, hand bags of groceries, offer clothing and toiletries, and haircuts once a month. We have an Outreach Pavilion where people can come in out of the heat or cold and sit at tables and be served. A playground is available for children to play.

BTLOP has a clothes closet for clients to select new and slightly worn clothes as needed, free of charge. Since 2018, over 5500 people have been served.

On a monthly basis, BTLOP provides a hot meal, snack lunch, hygiene packs (deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner) and new underwear to displaced clients/community members.

To assist with the process, BTLOP has partnered with four community churches (Friendship, God's Property, New Light and Revelation) to provide the meals and Wheatley High School Alumni to provide hygiene packs. On average, 25 - 40 people are served monthly.

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (STVDP) put their faith into action. The Vincentians, as the members are called, follow Christ by serving those in need of food, clothing, and assistance and so bear witness to Christ’s compassion for the poor and broken-hearted. Through person-to-person, Vincentians give their heart and friendship to those they serve.

re:LOVE’s mission is to provide hope to the underprivileged communities of San Antonio by distributing gently-used and new clothes, shoes, miscellaneous household items, and toiletries and personal hygiene items.

Every distribution is free of charge and without obligation. We believe that no one should go without the basic household toiletries needed for everyday use. re:LOVE also serves as a resource to other programs such as foster care, CPS, and shelters in and around our city.

The Nopalitos Free Pantry is located in the Highland Park neighborhood of San Antonio, Tx at 426 Rigsby Ave. It exists with support from the community to provide free dry goods to anyone in need.

The material offered is selected to maximize the reduction of transmission of blood-borne diseases, HIV, HCV, and syphilis.

The kits for IV drug users contain 10 syringes w/ 5/8 in 28ga needles, 6 condoms, a cooker, cotton, bandaids, alcohol swabs, a pamphlet describing the proper and safe way to inject, and a card listing the referral agencies in San Antonio.

Kits for diabetics did not contain the cooker, cotton, or pamphlet.

Disposal of collected dirty needles and syringes is through the Metropolitan Health District.

Harper's Chapel Ministries, in partnership with the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services Homeless Division and Daily Bread Ministries, has established a Resource Hub to assist the residential and houseless community.
