Spiritual Care near
Welcome! We're a Christ-focused community, doing our best to love and serve others.
Church is a refuge from the chaos of everyday life. Attending services gives us time to worship God and associate with others who are trying to be better and live more as Jesus did. It’s a spiritual recharge and helps us throughout the week.
We’d be thrilled to see you on Sunday.
English is the main language spoken here.
Phase One
Our Phase One program prepares students to be disciples through a six-month course filled with Bible studies, service work in the community, and volunteer work for other non-profit organizations. The students also assist in the San Antonio Christian Church community soup kitchen as well as in their food pantry distributions.
During this phase, we will also help students with ID recovery, if needed, to prepare them for the workplace and so they can transition into our Phase Two work program.
The program has a productive daily routine that all must adhere to. Think of it as a Boot Camp for Life. Each day begins with prayer and Bible study. The remainder of the day keeps residents active and engaged.
Students participate in Hands-On Training (HOT), which includes community service, evangelizing, and assisting other ministries. We train students to be disciples of Jesus Christ through biblical truths. This experience equips each one to live to the full potential God intended for their lives.
Phase Two
Our Phase Two program helps students find employment. Participants then contribute 25% of their income toward room and board, as a way of giving back, keep 25% for their personal basic needs, and save 50% to eventually use towards transitioning back home with family or to begin independent living.
Our requirements:
- At-risk men
- A referral from a pastor or ministry is preferred
- To have and maintain the desire to change their life
- To have and maintain the ability to surrender
Phase 1: Nothing.
Phase 2: 25% of income.

We believe in old fashioned preaching and singing old fashioned hymns. We use the King James Version of the Bible, and the Minister tells you exactly how it is. We don't enfore a strict dress code, and welcome anyone to worship with us. We don't restrict anyone when we partake in Communion, celebrating the Lord's Last Supper.
Life - Family - Purpose
More than just a weekend service, Harvest City Church is a family that connects, grows, and builds together. Our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing encounter with God, develop meaningful relationships, discover your purpose, and make an eternal impact in the world around you.
Our services include contemporary and passionate worship; a message that is scriptural, inspirational, relevant, and engaging with a good measure of humor (laughter is good for the soul); and a time of ministry and prayer.
We offer children’s ministry, birth through 5th grade, at all of our services. Our youth ministry, 6th-12th grade, holds services on the first and third Fridays of every month.
In terms of dress code: dress comfortably. Some of our members prefer to wear business or smart casual attire while others choose a more casual look with jeans and their favorite T-shirt. The point is, just come as you are. We would rather you come than worry about what you are going to wear.
We can tell you all about our services, but we believe it best for you to check it out yourself! When you come, be sure to visit our Guest Tent located at our front entrance before or after the service. We’d love to meet you and give you a gift just for being with us that day.
It is an excellent summary of some of the Bible’s major teachings as well as a stirring call to us all to lead God-honoring lives. “Having tasted God’s amazing grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we passionately pursue life-changing relationships with God, with each other, and with our world.”

Faith Presbyterian Church is radically ordinary in our approach to worship and ministry. We strive to proclaim God’s law in all of its terrible weight and glory and God’s gospel in all of its refreshing wonder and joy through exegetical preaching and the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

“It is our desire to see healthy spiritual growth that is lived out in the lives of believers. Knowing that Christ died to set us free, we embrace the opportunity to aid the body of Christ in that freedom by providing an environment that encourages each person to focus on Jesus which will allow them to yield, receive, and rest as they learn, develop, and work through the daily struggles of this life…always keeping an eye on eternity and the Life that is ours in Christ. The HLF family is committed to providing a safe place of ministry, where believers can find hope, encounter Christ as Life, and discover their true identity in Him.” - His Life Ministries
Our Vision is to promote the indwelling, empowering presence of Christ as Life in individuals and families through biblical instruction.

It makes no difference what people do for a living or their uniforms. We are still dealing with people who need a touch from the Lord. A bullet-proof vest, handcuffs, and gun won’t protect against temptation, attacks on character, or conflicts with morality. Only through the power of Jesus Christ will law enforcement officers and their families have the strength to stand against the temptations inherent in the profession.
Through the scriptures, it is the goal of Chaplain Danny Hubbell and Special Forces Ministries (SFM) to build more productive and more focused police officers to serve within the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) and to serve and protect the city of San Antonio. Empowering lives... Impacting communities.
Our purpose is to minister to families in the community by providing a positive Christian learning envirionment in which each child can participate in a variety of developmentally appropriate experiences.
Our mission is to offer a nurturing atmosphere for children three months to four years, where the child is ministered to emotionally, spiritually, academically, and physically.
Our goal is to assist each child in developing a positive self-image, a love for life, and an awareness of the wonderful world God has made.
Our MDO office is located in the Faith Building adjacent to the Guilbeau Road entrance.

- Continuing education: religious topics, health topics, crime prevention.
- Social/recreational activities: exhibits, talent shows, parties, bake sale dinners, older Americans month and covered dish lunches, games, bingo, cards, sports, picnics, crafts, and tours.
- Advocacy: keeping informed about political candidates on issues, voting at election time, writing letters to state and national legislators, etc.
- Encourage self-help and independence.
- Provide for the development of leadership and coordination among the seniors.
The 50+ group is an organization for, with, and by seniors; the group offers support services throughout the parish, the Archdiocese of San Antonio, and other agencies as may be available, possible, and appropriate.
We would like to have all seniors participate in the seniors program and need volunteers to fill all positions.
