Provided in the recognition that change and growth continue through the life cycle, and with the awareness that the older person may have particular needs. Counseling can be provided for the older person experiencing difficulty or for family members and caregivers concerned about the well being of an older person.
At The Ecumenical Center, we view healing as the integration of mind, body and spirit. That’s why we want every aspect of care provided to be clinically competent, and – where desired – theologically informed and spiritually sensitive. Nowhere is this more apparent than in our counseling services.
Our counseling staff and qualifications:
All of us working in this field are state-licensed counselors, graduate and doctorate level therapists, psychologists, registered play therapists, LPCs, LPSWs and LPC-S working under supervision. In addition, all those who deal with faith-based counseling clients are certified by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.
